Starting Wondrous Shadows is easy because unlike Flameplume Starflowers and The Great Gathering, there isn't a long quest you must run through before the challenge will open up. Always make sure you're paying attention to it so you know if you're positioning something in the right way. This is your progress gauge which fills up as you move the pieces correctly. There is a meter with four sections in the bottom left corner. When controlling a wooden shape, you can drag it left and right to get it to the desired position, and you can even lock it in place so you can rotate it without spoiling your placement of the wood. Even better is that if you still haven't solved it after a certain amount of time has passed, you will be given a hint as to what the image is. Unlike other themes in Fleeting Colors in Flight, you aren't racing against the clock so you can take your time. The early challenges only have one piece to rotate, with the number of segments increasing as you progress, amplifying the difficulty. You don't know what the image is until you've solved it, so it can get pretty hard in the later levels. In Wondrous Shadows, you have to guess and replicate an image using shadows in a Shadow Lantern using pieces of wood.
